What We Believe
Our faith is rooted in Scripture and centred on Jesus. These beliefs shape how we worship, grow together, and serve our neighbours in Seoul and beyond.
The Bible
We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, perfect as given by Him, trustworthy and authoritative in all matters of faith and life. Through Scripture, God reveals who He is, leads us to Jesus, and teaches us how to live.
The One True God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is holy, loving, and the Creator of all things. He made us to know Him and live in relationship with Him.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. Born of the virgin Mary, He lived without sin and gave His life on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and reigns with the Father. Through Him, we are reconciled to God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit gives us new life at salvation, lives within believers, and empowers us to follow Jesus. He convicts us of sin, forms Christlike character, and equips us to serve. We believe His spiritual gifts continue today and encourage believers to seek and use them to glorify Jesus and build up the church.
Humanity
We believe God created men and women in His image, with equal dignity, worth, and purpose. All people have sinned and are separated from God, needing His forgiveness and new life. Apart from salvation in Jesus Christ, we face eternal separation from God. God's offer of redemption extends to everyone, and every person deserves to be treated with love, compassion, and justice.
Salvation
We believe salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, those who repent and trust in Him are forgiven, made right with God, and welcomed into His family. We cannot earn salvation through good works. As we follow Jesus as Lord, His grace changes us and produces a life of growing holiness and obedience.
The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all who belong to Him. We gather to worship, learn from Scripture, pray, and encourage one another. Every believer has gifts to contribute, and together we are called to make disciples, care for people, and share the gospel.
Baptism and Communion
We believe Jesus gave baptism and communion to His church. We baptise those who profess faith in Him. In communion, we remember His sacrifice, celebrate our life together in Christ, and proclaim His death until He returns.
Our Mission
We believe we are called to proclaim and demonstrate God's love. We share the good news of Jesus, make disciples, and serve our neighbours with compassion and generosity. Across cultures and languages, we invite people to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and bless the world.
Our Future Hope
We believe Jesus Christ will return and the dead will be raised. Those who belong to Him will live with Him forever in the new heavens and new earth. This hope shapes how we live and serve today.

Faith in Everyday Life
Following Jesus shapes our everyday lives: how we love our families, approach our work, care for one another, and serve our city. At Revive, we grow together through Scripture, prayer, worship, and community. We are one bilingual church learning to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and bless the world.
